Hi! I'm Hillary, a longtime Nashvillian juggling the colorful chaos of being a self-taught mixed media artist, a songwriter, and, most importantly, a mama to five amazing kiddos.

Creativity has always been my escape. It’s the way I process the world. Whether I'm singing a melody or painting a meadow, it's what grounds me. Art isn't just a hobby for me—it's part of who I am, it fills my soul.

Before babies came along I was a staff songwriter at a Nashville music publishing company. I got to craft songs with some of the greatest artists and writers in town. I sang in a duo and released several albums that I am so proud of. I was able to share my songs with the world and even hear some of those songs on the radio. But when baby number three came along, I chose to step back from the music industry to fully embrace the joys and challenges of raising a family and homeschooling.

It was a beautiful surprise that becoming a mother brought painting back into my life. It was like finding an old friend I didn't realize how much I'd missed. I have my little ones and my amazing hubby to thank for that. They're my why, the reason I keep chasing those dreams tucked inside my heart.

Creating art amidst the beautiful chaos of family life isn't easy, but it's worth every second. I want my kids to see their mom living out her passion—it's the best way I know to teach them to chase their own dreams.

"If it weren’t for motherhood, I may never have picked up a brush again.”
